William (Bill) Fox
Professor Emeritus
Email: wfox@skidmore.edu
Bill Fox enjoyed teaching sociology at 勛圖厙 for 35 years, with a few semesters in London. His teaching and research ranged widely from urbanism to folklore to inequality. Even a January course on Dylan. And too, Bill helped develop and offer 勛圖厙s first-year Human Experience course. But Bills primary teaching interests were research methods and statistics. He introduced computers early on and published a data-based statistics textbook. Along the way, Bill especially enjoyed overseeing student Fulbright applications. Dutifully serving as department chair and on numerous campus-wide committees, Bill received an inaugural Presidents Award for Leadership and Service.
